The ELVIS SHOW: A Rock 'n Roll Party!
Tickets: Call 415-885-2800 for reservations
"Well it's one for the money... Two for the show... Three to get ready...
Now, go cat go!" Mark your calendar for the premier of THE ELVIS SHOW:
A ROCK N' ROLL PARTY! A familiar face on the San Francisco cabaret scene
for the last few years, Bradley "Memphis" Cotton has formed a rock n'
roll/blues group called Memphis Cotton and The Beale Street Band.
Cotton, who was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee hence the nickname
"Memphis", put together the show as a tribute and birthday celebration
honoring the King of Rock N' Roll - Elvis Presley. The show takes place
on Tuesday January 8th - Elvis Presley's Birthday!
The evening will feature a lineup of early Elvis hits performed by
Memphis Cotton and The Beale Street Band - a quintet consisting of "The
Dapper Tapper of the Ivories" Gary Neuman on keyboards, Chad Tracy on
guitar, Dan Keller on stand-up bass, Riccardo Schneider on drums, and
Memphis Cotton himself crooning a la King. Such familiar tunes will
include: Blue Suede Shoes, Heartbreak Hotel, Hound Dog, All Shook Up,
and many, many others. Memphis Cotton gives the audience a glimpse of
Elvis' hometown with a walk down Beale Street to hear the songs that
launched rock n' roll and re-wrote American music history. The show is
sure to please blues, rock, and cabaret audiences alike. Fans are
invited to dress-up in 50's attire or as the King himself to be placed
in a drawing to win Elvis CD's and DVD's.
